College of Nursing Sciences, St. Mary’s Joint Hospital (CONSA), is a joint project of the Government of Imo State and the Roman Catholic Church of the Diocese of Orlu with Most Rev Gregory Obinna (Emeritus) as the first Proprietor and Rt Rev Dr. Augustine Ukwuoma, as the present Bishop of Orlu Diocese. Amaigbo community provided the land on which the school was built. It was officially opened on 2nd June, 1955 by the then Minister of Finance Mazi Mbonu Ojike. College of Nursing Sciences, St. Mary’s Joint Hospital is located 500 metres behind Nwangele LGA, along Anara Orlu Road, Imo State
